How to create YouTube chapters with Marker Chapter

Before you start

Open the Premiere Pro project and make the sequence you want to scan active. Add at least three sequence markers and keep consecutive chapter markers at least 10 seconds apart.

Create the chapter list

Open Marker Chapter in blinkl.io.
Review the markers found in the active sequence.
Use Marker colors to include and the marker list to keep only the chapters you need.
Choose MM:SS or H:MM:SS.
Resolve any warning about the first chapter, the number of chapters, or the minimum duration.
Edit the generated text if needed.
Select Copy or Export chapter file.

Marker Chapter exports marker-chapters.txt. You can select an export folder or use the saved Premiere Pro project's parent folder. Save the Premiere project first if you want to use its folder.

If Marker Chapter cannot export

Confirm that a sequence is active, it contains readable markers, the selected markers meet the chapter rules, and the destination folder is available.

Paste the finished chapter list into the YouTube video description.
