Export media

Export media lets you export multiple parts of your Premiere Pro timeline faster by choosing what to export, where to save, and which export preset to use—from one flow.


Open Export media


  1. In Premiere Pro, press Ctrl + K (Windows) or Cmd + K (macOS).
  2. Type Export media.
  3. Press Enter.


Choose what to export


Select one option:

  • Export entire timeline : exports the full sequence timeline.
  • Export in/out points : exports the range defined by Premiere Pro In/Out.
  • Export selected clips : exports only the clips you selected in the timeline.


Set the export folder

  • In Export folder, check the current path.
  • Click Change export folder to pick another destination.


Select an export preset


  1. In Select export preset, pick a preset from the list.
  2. Use Search presets… to filter by name.
  3. Press Select to confirm.


Presets with a star are your favorites in the list, for quicker access.


Start the export

After you confirm the preset, the export starts using:

  • the chosen timeline area
  • the selected preset
  • the selected export folder
