# Open and control the Ring

## Navigation controls for blinkl.io

The Ring opens while an authorized Adobe application is focused or under your pointer. Enable one or several triggers under **Settings → Hotkeys**.

## Keyboard controls

Set a global keyboard shortcut to open the Ring from anywhere. Press **Escape** to close it.

* On macOS, hold **Cmd** and right-click an Adobe window.
* On Windows, hold **Ctrl** and right-click an Adobe window.
* Or middle-click an Adobe window.
* Or press your global keyboard shortcut.

## Navigate through actions

Move the pointer toward a Ring slice to highlight it. Nested rings open additional groups of actions.

Left-click to confirm the highlighted slice. Right-click to return from a nested ring; at the root level, right-click dismisses the Ring.

## Mouse controls

Middle-click returns from a nested ring and dismisses the Ring at the root level. **Escape** dismisses it from any level. If mouse triggers do not work on macOS, verify Accessibility permission for blinkl.io.
