What is SmartExport?

Overview

SmartExport export-job interface.

SmartExport prepares multiple exports from a Premiere Pro sequence. Choose Blocks or Clips, review the detected export jobs, exclude items you do not need and select a Premiere Pro export preset.

Clips creates one export job for each enabled video clip.
Blocks groups contiguous video clips into one export job; an empty timeline gap starts a new block.

Audio-only clips do not define SmartExport jobs.

You can export directly or send the jobs to Adobe Media Encoder. SmartExport also lets you choose a destination folder or use the saved project location.
