Uninstall blinkl.io on macOS

If you are using macOS, follow the instructions below to remove blinkl.io. If you are on Windows, follow this tutorial.


This guide ensures that all files, caches, and temporary data are properly deleted.


Step 1: Uninstall the application


  1. Open your 'Applications' folder
  2. Drag blinkl.io into the Trash.


Step 2: Remove temporary data in the macOS system cache


  1. Open Terminal
  2. Type the following command and press Enter: open $TMPDIR
  3. In the folder that appears, locate io.blinkl
  4. Delete the entire io.blinkl folder


Step 3: Delete support directory


  1. Open Finder and click on 'Go' > 'Go to' in the top bar
  2. Paste the following path:  ~/Library/Application Support/
  3. Find and delete the io.blinkl folder


Step 4: Delete PPro extension directories


  1. Open Finder and click on 'Go' > 'Go to' in the top bar
  2. Paste the following path:  ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions
  3. Find and delete all folder named io.xxxxxxx.blinkl.production and io.blink.production.main-manager


blinkl.io is now completely uninstalled! You can reinstall it anytime by following our installation guide. We hope to see you again soon!
