Configure your Ring

The Ring can contain Blinks, instant actions and nested rings. Configure it around the tasks you use most often.

Add an item

Show the Ring settings and the configured slots before demonstrating the editing workflow.

Show the second Ring workflow requested for the article: choose an action and confirm its final slot in the Ring.

Open the Ring configuration from blinkl.io.
Select an empty slot.
Choose a Blink, an available action or a nested ring.
Select an icon when the option is available.
Save the configuration.

Only actions compatible with your installed Blinks, access level and supported Adobe hosts are offered.

Reorganize the Ring

Move an item to another slot to change its position.
Remove items you no longer need.
Group related actions inside a nested ring.
Keep frequent actions on the root Ring to reduce the number of clicks.

Add an instant action

Ring with Blink entries and instant actions.

Some Blinks can add a preset or asset directly to the Ring. For example, Smoothify can expose a preset and SFX Lib can expose an individual sound effect. Launching the Ring item runs that action without opening the complete Blink interface.

Appearance and motion

Use the Ring settings to adjust available visual options, including reduced animation when offered.

Ring limits

The number of available slots or extensions can depend on your blinkl.io plan. If a slot is unavailable, check Account and extension access in blinkl.io.
